Dear PSC Members,
First and foremost, we have a very special treat for you at our May General Meeting coming up this Thursday evening, May 18, 2023, at the clubhouse, commencing at 7:00 pm.
Our guest speaker will be Carole LeBlanc from Argus Audiology. She will be giving a talk about protecting your ears, hearing loss, tinnitus and sound deprivation. She will also be giving a quick demonstration of what it is to have an impression of your ears taken for custom ear products.
She will also be handing out goody bags and in that goody bag, there will be a free screening. Those who make an appointment and come in for the screening and present with a hearing loss, will have their name entered into a draw for a set of hearing aids valued at $7490.00. And the best part? The draw is exclusive to our club. That’s right! A PSC member will win this valuable draw. We certainly hope you plan to attend this event.
Looking down the road, on Saturday, June 3rd, National Range Day, we will be holding a demo day at the club. The trap range will be all set up and anyone wanting to give it a try will be allowed to shoot at no expense to themselves. Guns, ammunition and targets will be supplied by the club. We will be doing the same thing on the handgun range for anyone that would like to give handguns a try. Again, guns, ammo and targets will be supplied by the club. Hotdogs will also be provided, while they last. This is open to anyone, so please be sure to tell your friends and family.
Our June General Meeting, on June 15th, will feature a presentation by the Buckskinners Muzzleloading Association on the operation of muzzle loading firearms.
And last, but not least, I have in my possession two 22 calibre handgun mags from a Ruger Mk1 or Mk2 that were found on the floor of the handgun range. Please let me know if these are yours. I am also still in possession of a mag for a CZ75 9mm. Again, please let me know if this is yours and I will see to it’s return.
